Terminow Project
Terminow is an innovative airport application designed to help travelers efficiently find their gates, shops, and essential information within airports. Its intuitive interface enhances the travel experience, ensuring a smoother journey. By integrating skills such as UI Animation, Design Thinking, and Problem Solving, the project creates an engaging user experience. Collaboration and tools like Figma and Adobe XD were essential for effective visual design and rapid prototyping, guided by thorough user research. Terminow has received notable recognition, including a Silver Prize at the CADC on June 25, 2024, and a $1,000 Innovation Grant from NSF I-Corps in collaboration with MIT during the Summer of 2023, highlighting its innovative impact in the project management space.
NavGenie Project
NavGenie is an innovative app that assists international students in navigating college campuses using augmented reality (AR) technology. It offers real-time navigation tools, cultural insights, and a user-friendly interface to ease the transition for diverse students. The app was featured in a UConn Today interview on June 11, 2024, titled “Iranian Pair Designing App to Help International Students Navigate New Campus, New Life.” Additionally, NavGenie secured first place at the GetSeeded Pitch Night in Fall 2023, winning $1,000, and received a $2,000 Innovation Grant from the National Science Foundation in collaboration with UConn's Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, making it a vital resource for international students.
Science for Kids project, Web Design
worked with the Computer Science and Engineering department under supervision of Prf. Sheida Nabavi at UConn to design a website that educates children in mathematics. Using Adobe Illustrator and Figma, I created engaging graphic elements and typography. Employed Figma for prototyping and mockups, and integrated Wix to develop a user-friendly interface. The project enhanced technical skills while fostering a creative approach to making math enjoyable for young learners, summer 2024,
Math papers, Data Visualization
collaborated closely with Prof. Sheida Nabavi and her team on a mathematics projects and designed on data visualization for the paper submissions. Created intuitive visual representations of complex data using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, enhancing understanding and accessibility. The experience sharpened my technical skills and strengthened my ability to collaborate across disciplines, enabling me to present their research clearly and effectively, summer 2024
